Approach

Alkemi brings a unique, team-based delivery model that has been refined and customized in partnership with local governments to account for the nuances of the City development process. Our Planners have managed every aspect of the project life cycle, from initial screen-check review through project approval and final case close-out. We understand how to access necessary City resources, research previous project approvals, and tap into relevant institutional knowledge. Alkemi is comfortable collaborating across departments and agencies to build consensus and achieve the best possible solutions for our clients and communities.

Experience

Planners at Alkemi have reviewed hundreds of entitlement applications and thousands of development permits for commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects in Southern California. Here’s a look at some of our experience by the numbers:

1050+

We’ve reviewed more than 1,050 development applications (and counting) on behalf of municipal planning departments since July 2019.

32+

Our leadership team of three core planners has more than 32 years of combined experience in local government and contract planning services.

12+

We participate in more than a dozen community service events each year, because our commitment to community extends beyond the walls of City Hall and into the cities we serve.

20+

Our planners present master plans, conditional use permits, subdivisions, and other land use applications at public hearings a combined average of 20+ times per year since 2018.
